We loved coming to Kaia for my birthday last Feb. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing, and the greek island feel really comes across. I was very happy/ impressed with the food. The experimental take on classic greek didn’t always work (especially for desserts), but when it did, it was amazing, and I trust that everything will be smoothed out as time goes on. We look forward to coming back to Kaia.
Great menu and dining experience. Was super impressed by the food (elevated Greek cuisine) and great atmosphere. Zucchini chips were 10/10 and one of the best made dirty martinis I’ve had. Will definitely be back!
Of course I had almost half the menu on my first attempt! Kaia brings a sexy Greek vibe and transports you to those fancy dinners in Santorini where you dress up nice because it’s the way to go. Even when it’s cold outside, this place will make you feel warm and cozy. The food was beyond my expectations. Fresh, delicate, beautiful to the eye and packed with flavors that will make you want to lick the plates.
Kaia reimagines classic Greek flavors. Sometimes new age restaurants miss the mark but Kaia hits the bullseye. The beautifully renovated space is ideal for date nights, special occasions, or group gatherings. The staff deserves exceptional praise for their level of service everyone was professional, friendly, and helpful. Our server Kseniia was incredible she significantly elevated our experience. Highlights: - Zucchini chips: Perfectly crisp with tzatziki powder and garos caramel – creative yet respectful of tradition - Spanakopita: Expertly elevated classic – highly recommended - Broccolini: Simple, but an excellent meat free option - Potatoes: Outstanding with charcoal emulsion and crunchy shallot crumble - Prawn: Enormous and perfectly cooked - Octopus: Excellent flavor and perfectly cooked - Gyro: Top 3 dish an absolute must order - Grilled sea bream: Standout dish with perfectly cooked fish and delicious orange lemon sauce - Baklava: The only dessert I’d recommend - The drinks and wine were top notch. I recommend the Dill & Juniper. Skip: - Tuna Crudo: Tahini and sumac overwhelmed the fish; odd texture from xidato jelly - Souvlaki: Despite promising lion's mane mushrooms, the sauce was excessively sweet - Squid: Overly complicated - Donuts and juniper honey ice cream
Some of the best food I’ve ever had, Greek or otherwise. Favorite dishes included the Spinach (spanakopita), and the Gyro. Our server was welcoming and quite knowledgeable. An overall fantastic experience
This is probably my new favorite restaurant in Boston. The cocktails, food, ambiance, and service were all top teir. The atmosphere is buzzy and energetic, and the cocktails were extremely well balanced, we got the fig leaf & oolong, and the peach & pepper. The gifts of the sea were my favorite bite, but I enjoyed everything I ate. Some other favorites included the lamb gyro, the caviar and zucchini chips, the spanakopita, the tuna crudo, among others. They had an excellent selection of wine, we really enjoyed the Hatzidakis Mavrotragano. Our server Randy was such a joy and really made the experience special with his recommendations, attention to details, and fun vibes. Overall, I highly recommend Kaia!
An upscale Greek restaurant with a bar. The ambiance and staff were friendly and attentive. We came for drinks only and had reservations. Each dish is roughly 24-30 and the portions are considerably smaller than other meals that I have had for the same price. The cocktails were around 18 which is standard for a restaurant of this caliber. The cucumber and Mandarin cocktail was refreshing and definitely heavy on the cucumber taste, not much of the Mandarin flavor which I was looking forward to but overall a very refreshing cocktail. The kumquat and blood orange was tart and tangy and a very simple cocktail. The decor of the restaurant is very relaxing and upscale and in a prime location. I would come back again for Greek inspired drinks.
Amazing meal from start to finish. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and professional. Our waitress, Cass, was an absolute delight—knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful with both food and drink recommendations. ...
